Featured Marine tooth?

    [I have no idea where to post this...]

    This tooth was filled in on the backside with some sort of glue / resin and then screwed into a wooden stand. There's some residue still visible on the inside.

    At 3.5" / 9cm is it too small to be a sperm whale tooth? It looks real to me, but I could be wrong.

    Any opinions as to its identification are appreciated!

    Near identical to the pair of Sperm Whale teeth I have.

    Thanks-- looks very similar, but smaller. Lots of possible explanations for why that might be.
