  1. Anyone think there is any value to this large photograph of Marylin Monroe? Hold on a second, I will get the measurment of the photo. Not including the white space.

Doubtful. 1955 publicity still from The Seven Year Itch. Widely reproduced.

  3. The sizing doesnt make sense. Its about 10 1/2 * 13 1/4. Could the picture be bigger but just covered up? I couldnt find this photo online. Just others with her skirt blowing up.

Mat likely to blame. Should look like this.

  5. Well it looks like the framer did a shitty job. I saw pictures around this size going for $100.

More likely stock frame, not custom done. That would explain the cropped image.

Jivvy the research is my favorite

I suspect yours is a recent-ish decor reprint of the photo -- it looks sepia-toned (brownish) rather than black and white photo.

Parrot question... What does the back look like? If you open frame, you'll be able to ascertain whether printed on real photo stock or just high gloss paper.

  9. The back of the frame has brown paper covering it. I dont want to ruin the framing.

My vote is for decorative reprint from China.
