I picked this up today at my local thrift store for $1 today. It's made by
Posner's Bayonne. Seems to be very well made, fully lined, nice wool fabric. Is this an officers military coat or just for any man ?

    Thank You

Doesn't have any label that says what material it is, only the company name. I know cashmere is soft to the feel, this material is a little bit prickly like wool. Here is a pic of the only label and also the material. 072.JPG 064.JPG

Posner's opened for business in 1948, if that helps.

Thank you..I wish I wore coats like this, I love it. Maybe I will keep it for winter but around here, nobody dresses fancy, just a bunch of blue collar workers.

Hmm, okay I'll try but if I looked more like a model I would feel more comfortable wearing it. Last year in winter I wore a wool coat but some people I know said, what the heck are you doing wearing that, that's not your style Billy. I guess I need not to care what other people think. Thank You Christmasjoy....
