Sorry the photos aren’t great but it was a bit like trying to photograph fog.
He’s about 7cm tall and 14cm long so quite chunky and looks good quality.
Just another bit of Chinese glass or recognisable as by a maker? I’ve googled glass bears for an eternity but no matches I can see.
    Thankyou for any suggestions :)

Looks like vaseline glass? Have you tried it under UV light?

Pop this on one of the Facebook glass pages and ask Rosie Pearce to comment. She's the absolute expert on glass animals.

That does look very similar Kiko, Thankyou. That gives me a starting point.
Will do! I’ll try to track her down :)

She's on Car Boot and Charity Shop Glass for one. Lovely woman.

That's weird. I'm not an admin, but I can approve friends, so did.

For some reason FB was having a hissy fit and not recognising that I had answered the questions so I was declined three times. Once I had recovered from being mortally offended I tried again and it worked. Rosie unfortunately doesn’t know the maker but agrees that those splayed feet are likely Scandinavian. I have asked to join a Scandinavian glass group and will report back when I’ve managed to join that one!.

That's a shame. It's a nice piece and I hope you track it down.

If Rosie doesn't know, then it's a mystery.
