I would like to know how old these majolica tiles are. The are made in Spain and measure 13,8 x 13,8 x 1 cm. 1.jpg 2.jpg 55.jpg

Can't be terribly old. The black marker reads "Figueras" and "Cataluña." A souvenir, I'd think.

Can you make out the raised lettering under the marker? I can only make out "Sant Ipo____"

I know Figueras is a place. (Dalí was born there.) I assume the tile was bought there -- lots of tourists -- but made elsewhere in the province.

"Sant" means "Saint" in Catalan so could be the start of the name of a village or a ceramic maker. Could/would you post a link to the etsy.com listing?

Yours aren't very old. They're made in the traditional style but the "Made in Spain" tells you they're newer.
