Here are some recent finds I could use some help identifying before deciding whether to keep or flip to the online sellers I deal with. The pitcher weighs about 1.75 lbs and is about 4.5 x 7 (to outside handle) x 4.5" and the smaller piece is palm sized and about 6 oz. Call me crazy, but the design on the little piece makes me think of Newcomb Pottery. Thanks for whatever comments/advice you all may offer.

The bottom one is Japanese; the mark is upside down. I can't tell if it had a lid.

I thought so. Any idea if it's a sake cup, tea cup, or small bowl or about maker, age, value, etc?

It's not a tea or sake cup it's just a small bowl, probably decorative rather than utilitarian.
