hi i was wondering if anyone could help me identify this luna park ruby red glass mug. I believe it maybe be a souvenir from coney island. My aunt sent me pics so sorry if they are not good pics. Thank you for any info! Has 1907 on it and the name she wasn't for sure but thought it read "meary or mewry" then "a. Stickley"

Is or was there a Luna Park on Coney Island? I know there was a Luna Park amusement area here in Seattle during the time frame this was apparently made.

I just answered my own question - yes there was a Luna Park on Coney Island. Opened in 1903.

I've seen lots of this kind of decorated glass with a personalization created to order. Not in as good condition as this one appears to be, though. Somebody took very good care of this.

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

I can't quite make out the first name? Meary or Moary A. Stickley?

How about just plain MARY, with a very fancy "M"?

I have a miniature piece of ruby flashed stemware with my grandmother's (misspelled) name, Okla City, 1906, so these must have been very popular souvenirs. Maybe they were easy to personalize. My grandmother was the youngest of 7 sisters. Family story is that the beau of one of the older ones brought this back for her after a trip to Oklahoma City.

Search "Button Arches Ruby Stain" on ebay and you'll see other souvenir examples in your pattern. Button Arches was a very popular pattern for these types of souvenir items. I'm not sure it could be attributed to a specific manufacturer as I believe there were several companies that produced Button Arches.
