Featured Looks like a shoe, made of brass

    Never really knew what this was. We use it for a door stop. Looks like it's part of something else that hooks on the bar on top. Seems to have been repaired before as well. Comments appreciated.

    Spanish have small feet.:D Just about the only European country where I could buy shoes in my size.
    Seriously though, some of them are decorative model stirrups, rather than ones you could actually use. You would have to check the size to see which ones are actually useable.

    This type of stirrup is still in use in some parts of South America; Chile, Colombia and Argentina, especially in equestrian showmanship.

    we lived in South America. My parents bought several pairs of these stirrups on a trip through Chile.
