Looking to Identify this coffee table

    Good day, I honestly do not know if this is a modern, or antique coffee table. It belonged to my son who recently passed and we are now clearing out his house.

    It is a very heavy item. The glass top is approximately 3/8" thick heavy tempered glass, and the base is a combination of wood and stainless steel - also very heavy.

    We have no information on this, there are no mfg marks, decals, or inscriptions located anywhere on this item.

    An image search shows a current version called "Fusion" being made by Elite Modern of California, and retailing for around $1,800. And sorry to hear about your son passing.

    Can't help with dating it. My family had a table with similar oval glass in the 60's but not the same design.
    So sorry for your loss.
