For starters, it's silver plated. F B Rogers of Taunton , Massachusetts was still in business when my edition of Rainwater's Encyclopedia of American Silver Manufacturers was revised in 2004. The marking on yours is probably from the second half of the 20th century.

All their trademarks used the 1883 "company inception date" regardless of when it was created or used.

Unfortunately, like much silver plate of its era, your pretty sugar bowl won't sell for much, if selling it is your intention.

You'll find pieces in this pattern (no name, just model #2352) for sale on various online venues, and some folks are seeking high prices for them. Sadly, those high prices are rather unrealistic in today's marketplace.

A 5-piece set in the same pattern (teapot, coffee urn, sugar bowl, creamer and large footed tray) sold on EBTH for only $20:

Basically, if you like the piece, use it at home and enjoy it!

Okay thank you for the information! I was planning on keeping it anyways, just wanted to learn more information about it. I thought it was quite pretty and unique looking, so it caught my eye! I also got it for only $3!
