Looking for info on Hollowware Tiger

    Hello everyone! I'm trying to find out what I can about this hollowware tiger. It measures about 12" long and 6" tall. I'm not sure of the metal (bronze finish over brass?) but it's quite heavy. I included a close-up of one foot in case how it's finished might provide some clue. I think it might be Japanese but metal is a bit outside my usual area. Any info would be much appreciated. Thank you!

    I think it likely is a partial mark. Maybe @JayBee or someone familiar with the characters can hazard a guess?
