Looking for info and value on Simmons Metal Dresser

I have this 5 drawer Simmons metal dresser. We are trying to decide if we should sell it as is or look into refinishing it. It is in great shape with very little rust in a few drawers. Unsure where to even start and what it could be worth. Pictures below. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

 

I'd have it sandblasted and then taken to an autobody shop for a nice paint job. But that's just me, and if the experts don't think it would be worth a lot more left alone.

 

If you're going to sell it, let the buyer do what they want. What if you have it refinished and painted and they don't like the color? If you're keeping it, do what you like.

 

Does anyone have an idea what it would be worth? Selling as is?

 

We have a few threads on Simmons here. The consensus is that values are very location specific. What one can get in LA, NYC, or Chicago varies greatly from value in Podunk, USA.

Around here you'd be lucky to get $20, unless it was in a specialty shop and in really good condition.
