Featured Looking for ID on this old pitcher

    I've had this for a number of years. I've done all sorts of searches (word, phrase, image) but I haven't found anything similar. It is translucent & hand painted. It is 6.5" tall to the lip of the spout. The 2 pinky beige blobs near the top are birds. The backward slant is part of its construction.

    I wonder if it is old Lefton?

    I'd be thinking more German, but it's awfully clunky for that.

    I was thinking the same thing. But not the original kind of Lefton where the paint was really fine.
