Looking for help on this tea cup and saucer set.

    1939 would be the earliest that it was made, it could be after that.
    What is it that you want to know? It's unlikely the pattern had a name... other than C780.

    Just trying to find similar ones for value. According to the stamp design resoruces i found on here date it for 1939.

    The FB Aynsley group may have more info, but Aynsley made tons of tea cup and saucer sets -- some in sets, some singles. I'd peg this one in the late forties/early 50s just from the colour palette. Ainsley didn't use a lot of pattern names for these sets, but simply a pattern number. Lots were exported to Canada.

    Value is minimal, under $10 here in the US. I collect English cups/saucers and it's hard to find a home for the plain ones. Aynsley is not a high end name and only a few exceptionally decorated ones have any real value. I'm afraid it's one that would end up in the donation box if I had no place for it in my own home.
