Looking for a specific South African Sculptor

This is probably a long shot, but I'm looking to acquire some of the polyester resin sculptures of a deceased South African artist named Alan Rafael (Goldin): http://www.art-archives-southafrica.ch/RAPHAEL.htm

He was my wife's uncle. We've got one of his pieces but I would like to increase our collection. Does anyone have any advice on how to go about locating art by relatively obscure artists (and by someone on a different continent, at that). I know he did have several shows in Europe and the US, as well.

Well worth collecting. And how fun! A family member. If he worked and sold his work in South Africa, I would suggest you subscribe to the catalogs of the major auction houses there.
