Look into my crystal bowl...

...and see the future!

My mom has this bowl but we can't find any information about it. A few questions:

1. What style/pattern would you call this, "lotus" maybe?
2. The 2 pics with the red arrows point to the only thing that might be a maker mark. Neither photo is great. It's embedded inside the crystal near the base. Do you think it may just be a production flaw? My mom thinks it looks like a feather or a paintbrush shape, but it's pretty indistinct even in person. Any thoughts?

Shouldn't that be "look into my crystal ball"?

 

The base makes me think it is Scandinavian in origin. Lotus flower shape is a good guess. I don't think the arrowed parts are a makers mark. Looks like it could be good quality gift wear of recent manufacture (last 40 years). probably not going to easily find an exact maker without a signature or label. Maybe some of our google wizards will be able to photo match it.

Estimating: 14 x 9 x 7, maybe?
