    Hi all,

This 18" x 24" painting is unsigned, but on the back of the canvas is a hand-written name that appears to be "Leonard W. Morgan." Wondering if others are seeing the same name and what folks think of the painting.

    Thx!

He has a fabulous signature. Middle name letter might be an N or M given the flair of the M in Morgan. It looks like he was a hobbiest painter.

The painting is real action! People died doing those crazy jobs... I agree on hobbyist painter.

The size of the trees, boat and landscape all seem like British Columbia or Alaska to me. There's not much of those sizes in the 'lower 48.'

Agree re hobbyst painter and, although not highly skilled, one good enough to capture the tension of the scene. A very satisfying painting for an amateur work.
