Featured Little watercolour- ID help please

Hi all,this is how I found it (already taken out of the frame). Signature on roof behind first chimney of house on right (I missed it at first and then I thought branches) But looking closer its a signature. Any guesses as to the artist? Or other comments. It is 18x28cm. Thank you for any responses and keep well

obviously I came to the wrong conclusion. Thank you for the reply. Any thoughts on the painting overall?

 

I'll assume it was painted post 1900, by what looks like a radio antenna over the house.

Signature Wiekman?
Wiekman is a Nordic(ish) name, northern Netherlands, northern Germany, Scandinavia.
There are probably Wiekmans in SA, although this looks European. Bare trees too.

 

I made so similar guesses and did search. But will search Wiekman specifically. Appreciate the comment AJ,thank you.

 

Other half says that's a VHF TV H aerial, Band One and Band 3. Fifties or so. Those are very London houses.

 

Wow! If that's correct, both of you, as-well-as the artist are masters of disguise.

 

I'd not swear it's a signature (but I see cloud pictures so you can't go by me). How about Wickens or something like that?

Agreed, they look like seagulls.

 

Or pigeons. Could be, of course but... Would be a very fanciful signature. At any rate, it's charming. Winter scene of back gardens. How thoughtful of artist to include antenna.

I think its by a sickly person who spent a lot of time in their bed looking out that same window and one day decided to paint it. Its the romantic in me .

A good thing. My wife loves cloud ‘imaging ’ It can get very entertaining

 

Pigeons here tend to just sit on roof ridges like fat vultures. And fly singly. That looks more gullish.
