I’ve put this in metalware as seems most apt with the the metal bits.
I suspect someone may have made them in their shed for a child but I’m not sure. The main train is 6 ins long, I inch and a half wide. Picked them up at a U.K. car boot years ago.
There is a sort of a logo underneath SV, so maybe these were kits with decals or maybe just the makers initials. Any info please? Thanks

I don't think homemade. From the recurrence of Danmark, they may be Danish.

I think you are correct about being Danish. Here’s a Danish steam train I found with a similar pointed nose and banded top funnel.

Carlsberg is also Danish, but known internationally.

Very cool with great character. Personally I would have also guessed: hobbyists and ‘shed made’.

Thanks to all. They are off to a Toy auction along with a couple of Hornby accessories for someone else to enjoy.

    Agreed. Primitive...so wartime, perhaps?

Odd the Carlsberg logo is red. It’s the right one for 1931-1971 but it’s usually in green.

May have used what they could get, i.e. red ink but not green. I agree shed-built, but I'd bet with some bits ordered as a "kit" or printed onto the back of something the parent bought and then cut up. My grandfather did that here during WWII.
