    French trinket box, pretty recent and not much value I'm afraid. Made in the tens of thousands in LImoges.

    I'd call them 50s or later. They fall into a category I call "Fake Fragonard" - pretty courting scenes that are generic copies of Fragonard paintings from the 18th century. The pieces generally date to the 1950s-1970s.
