Featured Little Chinese Kwan Yin Stone sculpture on Lava rock?

    This is another piece I picked up at my favorite thrift the other day.
    I got it for USD $2.00 because it is broken.
    I have never seen any mounted on lava rock before.
    The sculpture stands 4 1/2" tall and another 1 1/2" for the lava rock 6" total
    I don't think it's jade. But I have been known to be wrong.

    She is very sweet. You're right, she isn't jade, but serpentine/soapstone.
    Datwise my guess is 1930s or so.

    Could be mid-late 20s as well. Mine is a roundabout guesstimate.;)
