Featured Little boy! What era is he from?

I picked up this incredible old photograph. Based on his clothes, what era do you think he's from?

He is well protected, with the name of Allah.
Sweet little boy.

 

He is a sweet fellow. And the photograph could have been taken overseas. I find him hard to date in that three-piece knit suit. He appears to be wearing Mary Janes so 20th century. Short unbelted jacket. Pre-1930s?

I doubt 1930s. Would have had a longer jacket with hip belt.

No, Mary Janes were only unisex until the 1930s/1940s. If I had to make an educated guess, I'd say 1920s. That's dating that works with the frame. By way, I see you're a new member. We do like to see, when framed pieces posted, both the front and back including frame along with close-up photographs of any labels, stickers or handwritten notations.
