Little basket.... origin?

    This little basket is only 3" tall. Purchased at the same time and place as the 2 mohawk baskets I showed on the finds thread. I knew it was not Mohawk but thought it might be something, having likely come from the same collection. Besides, it was only $1.00. There is some subtle zig-zag patterning that doesn't show up real well in the photo. Any ideas?

    Looks like palm fiber to me. Not NA. Could be Mexican... others'll know better.

    It basic shape looks similar to some Seri/Comcaac basketry, from northern Mexico. But it is difficult to tell if the fibers are the right kind for their work. There is not much to go on - identifying such a simple coiled basket is not easy.
