Litho dot printed matter bird picture

Anyone know when these were in vogue please? 70s? Initially I thought the birds were made out of feathers but it’s definitely printed papers. It’s 7 x 6 and a half x 2inches deep. I can’t make out the artists name either. Thank you.

 

Maybe from the period when chromolithography 'scrap' was a popular hobby?

The birds appear to be offset printed, not chromolithography? Perhaps the frame is much older?

Yes, modern litho printing. It’s actually hard to even figure out what the frame is made from. I thought wood at first but no joins i can see so it may be moulded, without taking a piece out of it or removing the back felt it’s a bit of a guess. It looks good from a distance.
