    dear all

found it bagged away at the back of drawer. the skirt is gorgeous and folds over the lady for storing away. unfortunately the cork broke, is it still worth anything? haven't been able to find anything similar.

    regards

Phaik, she is lovely. But this the tribal arts forum, if you move your post to the pottery etc. forum, you'll get more expert eyes on her.

Well, I think Lucille's links have given you an idea of the value. If you want more info, you can always start a new thread in the pottery forum.

Can you replace the cork? I have dug out old broken corks from a couple of things in the past. You might have to use a Dremel. Make sure you save the label on the old cork. Would a wine cork fit or is that too small? If not, the craft stores sell corks in bags in many different sizes.

    Hi,
I would put a nail in both pieces of cork as a stabilizer and glue the cork together. I would use a hot glue gun instead of regular glue. Just do not add so much glue that it oozes out all over.
