Featured Lidded Purple Glass Jar

    Hi everyone. I was hoping to get some information on this jar. Others with the same lid are saying Italian. 60s/70s? It stands 11" high, including the lid. Thank you for any help at all.

    yep, I agree. Appears to be definitely from the Empoli region of Italy

    empoli - if listing vessels like this always gain more recognition if you call them an apothecary jar...

    Thirded on Empoli. Often called apothecary jars, but that's not what they are. ;)

    The figures are Venetian.
