Featured Large millefiori paperweight

    Picked this up today for a couple of quid. It's the largest paperweight I've ever purchased. ~9cm diameter. The canes look very well made. Strangely enough they appear better looking through the base, which is a nicely polished, apart from the odd one being out of position. I haven't a clue who it's by.

    I'm no paperweight scholar-but IMHO, it's beautiful !

    Yes I really like it. I'm on a roll with paper weights at the moment.

    Here's one I found a couple of weeks ago. I think it's Strathearn looking at the base

    Your second one is definitely Strathearn, that yellow is also typical. First looks fratelli Toso I think. Magnum sized.

    It’s Fratelli Toso, as in the Brothers Toso. I suspect you’ll find some similar ones!

    I have thanks. I think mine is at the lower end. There are some magnificent ones on eBay.
