I picked this up at a thrift shop. I believe the painting must have been retailed, there are stock numbers on the back. I do not think it is a Chinese factory painting, it doesn't seem to fit the formula for those. I suspect it could have been painted in a studio setting providing paintings for retail decorating stores (kind of like Lee Reynolds). It is 36" by 24" and has a very nice frame, may be teak? I think it is oil, but might be acrylic. There are some framer notes on the back in pencil(size etc.). I have not had any luck finding a similar painting or one signed like that. I was wondering if the signature might be AL CO., designating some company. I really like the painting and think it is well done. I don't think I have seen one with so much white in the background, it is certainly a different style. It is almost like a watercolor translated into an oil painting.

I didn't think of the Greek landscape. but it would be a wonderful name for any shop that has to do with arts.
