Large Chinese Planter Marks and Name?

Does anyone know what kind of technique this is, how old and what the mark signifies?

Another area in which I'm ignorant but if I had to guess I'd say early 21st. C., and call it relief or appliqué decoration. That just means a design that sticks out of the surface to some extent.

 

You mean 21st or 20th? not that I think it's that old, but likely older than 15 years, judging by estate...

 

You can find antiques and brand new pieces in the same estate. At least I do.

I'm sure it's not any incredibly rare item, but I have to check around, since I really don't know. We just thought the mark was interesting enough to inquire about...

Yes I meant early 21st c. Look at rim on bottom, not a scratch, means to me it hasn't been moved much since it was taken out of the box it was packed in at the factory.
