Featured Large ceramic vase?

    Hey again folks!

    Another find from a thrift store. I know they get all their stuff from Norway, mostly older people who give their stuff away for free. That is all I know.
    It was only 2$ so I didn't think about it and bought it since I liked it a lot, but now trying to figure out the origin, style or anything really :)
    It is very heavy and actually looks older than on the photos, but in my opinion very high quality piece (I could be wrong of course). Measures about 29 cm high (bit over 11 inches).

    Very thankful for any information on this.

    I agree, really pretty. The decoration certainly looks like it could be Norwegian, both the delicate floral motifs with some folk influence and the colours.
    Other than that I can't help you, but the 'potties' will be here soon.

    While it does have a mid-century Scandinavian vibe, it's actually Mexican. Yes, Mexican. Google "Tonala pottery" and you'll see many similar. Beautiful piece.
