    Hi everyone,

I received this kitchen table awhile ago & I was researching about it & saw that Lane tables are actually desirable.
I have been researching it online & haven’t had any luck.
I saw the Lane serial number identifier but I still don’t know the value & how old it is? 1964 ? 1979? Not sure…
The legs seemed to be cast iron but I am not positive.
    It is approximately 42” square.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks, Alaina

1996. You read the serial number from the end. In this case 01 is January, so Jan 19th 1996 from Factory #2.

Thanks so much for the help!
Is it worth anything? Or do you know how to determine that?

Test the legs with a magnet to see if it is iron or not.

It's certainly worth "something" but not enough to retire on. Your picture looks like there has been some surface damage to the finish? If you can fix that yourself it may improve what a buyer would pay.

Some of their mid century modern collections from the 50's and 60's (Acclaim, Dilineator, etc), and Brutalist pieces from the 70's, sell pretty well. But their traditional and contemporary styles are just used furniture, not worth any more than any other brand.

I am thinking this is a marriage.

It doesn’t stick but there is paint on it - it’s definitely some heavy duty metal.

    Probably cast aluminum then

This doesn't fall in to the desirable category as far as Lane goes. Just used furniture and the value is in its utility. That said, the table has a good look and should be worth a hundred or two to the right person if the top were fixed up a bit.
