I have not been able to find any information or any other pieces like it anywhere. I just recently learned they could be from the Lane “carpathian” collection. Has anyone seen these before or know what they could potentially be worth?

How do you know? I’ve had the hardest time finding info on these. Are they worth anything?

These are probably 1970-something. Some of us are old and we've seen it before It's nice quality stuff, but not antique. Value... depends a lot on where you are.

You are supposed to be able to date Lane furniture by reading the serial number backward so that would make the manufacture date of yours January 25, 1958 I believe.

That's consistent with the script font. Very 1950s.

The paper tag says that they are veneered, Lane is nice but mass-produced furniture, and I agree with the late 1950s dating via the serial number. On a really good day, in my area of the Midwest US, you might get $75-$100 for the pair. They may appeal to a Grand Millennial aficionado.

No shame with Lane. Found in the homes of middle class people with good taste. But that doesn't mean it's held its value.

Yes, made in 1958, and Carpathian Collection as shown in this 1958 ad. Lane's Mid Century Modern style collections, especially those designed by Paul McCobb, sell for decent amounts. Their more traditional lines like this one are not as valuable. They appear to be in good condition, and having a pair definitely helps. Here in Texas I would probably price at $200 but would expect to come down some.
