He everyone. I was hoping to get help with a description. Would it be Neoclassical style? Apologizing again for the poor photos. They are not mine and I won't be able to get new ones for a few days. Thank you for any help at all.

It's an unusual lamp. (French, maybe?)

Is the base onyx? Would be nice to see a photo of the plug if possible if you can get more photos. :)

Thanks for your input. I know it's difficult with those terrible pics. I'm not with the lamp. And I have to wait a couple more days for more and hopefully better photos. I'll try to find out more soon. Thanks again.

Of French inspiration, if not necessarily make, early to mid 20th century, well made in good shape (alas, questionable taste). Neoclassical could describe it, yes, but others may call it Second Empire or BeauxArts; fellow with finial for hat looks to be Homer (doh).

Sorry to bring this back up, but is there a term for those faces where the arms are coming out of?

Not really a crown, is it. Perhaps a diadem? Or a helmet?

Lol. I wish I was the one taking them. I did find out finally that the bottom is a stone, not metal.

    It's Zeus.
My daughter found it with google images. Don't know why I didn't think of it. I wonder if the lamp and finial were made together.
