    I know ZIP about lace.

My friend ("P") has a very wealthy older friend and these were in that person's family and being donated. The wealthy older friend asked "P" if she wanted them for a sewing project. I've mentioned this before on the site, I have an arrangement where "P" finds me things I post on Ebay and we put all proceeds into a lunch fund.

"P" decided she wasn't going to use these after all, and was going to donate to GW, and I said, "Maybe I could get $20 or more on Ebay for our lunch fund." I know some lace isn't that great for resale. Some has staining, too --- but overall not.

Before I list, any keywords come to mind for my listing? There are around 50 pcs total. OR if any particular one looks especially of interest for resale, please let me know. I just wanted any easy sale -- so didn't spread all 50 out for a photo. Thinking someone could use these for a sewing project or craft. Appreciate any keywords/thoughts. Thank you!

Oooooh! Wish I could sew! Someone who restores old clothing might be very pleased with some of those, and also a person who makes doll clothing. :) Good luck!

    Is it @Northern Lights Lodge
that knows about this sort of things?
I always picked up similar ones at sales and gave them to my neighbor who used them for show.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

Yes, it is. I hope she sees your tag.

Most of those look commercial rather than hand-made. A crafter would love them.

Thanks for the views. Some young people are doing some fun clothing add-ons, I could see these used for that. Doll clothing is another idea.

I'm going to pop them up on Ebay and we'll see if we get a lunch out of it.

    Thanks! :)

Let us know how you do! I started picking up linens, doilies, lace. Can’t recall if I’ve sold any yet. Should prob figure out if I should keep grabbing them or start leaving them again. They get ignored so often I figured there may be opportunity there.

I tend to snag anything that looks hand-made. I've been known to use them as packing in Secret Santa or other gifts, much to the delight of a joolie or two.

    Hi Leslie,

Very helpful. :) Just noticed there were more responses.

I luckily listed as an auction and not BIN. The lot (even with disclosed staining on a few) wound up selling for $92.

    So pleased.

    Thank you for the help.
