Just a bit of show and tell. Cleaning up, I came across this poster.

Colorama images were used to promote Kodak color films. The Colorama Babies were among the most popular, introduced in 1984. This is dated a year later and shows the original babies and again a year later (maybe two?).

The poster is nearly 40" long and over 12" high.

Lots of information about the Colorama program (and the babies) online, but I'm not seeing any of these posters for sale.

It was very popular at the time. I think the babies showed up in a TV ad.

    *******
edit: not finding one on YouTube, so maybe not. Lots of Kodak ads there.

MOS, I found a page on Pinterest that showed a lot of the different Kodak Colorama ads. They are really great! Thanks for posting this or else I would never have seen them. I was an adult during the time this ad campaign was ongoing, but just never noticed it. Huh.

I found a web site in Hong Kong that is offering reproductions of the posters in 5 different sizes, starting price is $135. Offered framed and unframed.

Developed for the KODAK Grand Central Station light box. Hence the long, narrow horizontal.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

Very nice, MOS! Some photo collectors also collect photo ephemera and historical advertising. That would fit right in, for those who collect Kodak.
