    He guys,

I have been so sick with allergies the last two weeks. I don't know how I am going to call an auction this weekend. You might want to tune in just to see how I do it. LOL!

Anyways, I hadn't posted one of these in a while and so I figured I would just pop in and let you all know. We have some pretty neat items this month. Some unusual items to say the least including a USSR Cabin Clock of a submarine, Elvis Presley's Memorial Booklet, some decent coins, and a WW2 US Army cast iron griddle (a survivor in great shape). I will add a few pictures to this post of some of the lots. Anyways, check it out if you have a chance.

    Hi Kasper,
Allergies are a killer. I NEVER had allergies to my environment in my whole life. Two years ago I started and it has been a horror. The latest has been a reaction to Lactated Ringers Solution. They started an IV and 5 mins later WHAM redness up my arm, swelling of my arm and throat. Almost had to cancel my surgery.
My only allergy was to wasp stings. Bees no problem but those pesky wasps. Feel better. You have some nice items.

Oh my Greg! That sounds like anaphylaxis shock that is super serious. I am allergic to aspirin and had a reaction like that when I was a kid before we knew I was allergic. My throat closed up and I had to be rushed to the emergency room. That was the one and only time that ever happen to me but I know it is a very serious thing. I am glad you are ok. I am allergic to everything. Fall and Spring here are killers for me. Cedar, Ragweed, Mold, it all effects me. I am on all kinds of fun meds right now trying to knock it out.

Hubby is allergic to wasp. I don't know if I am I am? I am lucky I haven't ever been stung. My little girl got stung 5 times once it was awful but thankfully she didn't have a reaction and handled it like a real trooper for a 3 year old. Hubby was looking at our AC unit and she was with him. He didn't realize a huge nest had been built up inside. It happened very quick and bam! they had gotten her on her arms several times. I rushed her inside and was scared to death that she would have a bad reaction since Jason is allergic. I put meat tenderizer on the bites to take the sting away and she was fine within minuets. Bless her little heart. I felt so bad for her.

Are your auctions always the last Saturday of the month? I missed out on this one & found at least 1 thing I would have bid on for sure. I want to make a note of the dates for future sales so I don't miss goodies in the future.

Joe - that fish piece came from a way-back relative's company, and I noticed it right away! When I saw it, I checked & discovered that it already had bids, and the price at that point even was more than I wanted to pay.

(I have quite a bit of memorabilia and old merchandise from the company; it would have been nice to have that piece, but I don't even have a place to display any of it, so...)

Anyway, I hope Kaspers made a BUNDLE on the sale, fish included!
