Bought a sword at an auction. It's a knights of Columbus Sword. (I also purchased a Viking sword) The tip of the sword, the eagle's wings are missing. The sheath, I guess it's called, is there something supposed to be on the tip? It's in decent condition. Still haven't figured out how to send pictures off my tablet. Anyone familiar with these swords that can give me any information on them?

We definitely need visuals. Once you get some pics, we can be much more helpful.

If you have an iPhone or ipad you can email them to yourself and select medium size. I then download them on my computer in case I need to work with them and then upload them.
These are instructions on just using your iPhone https://www.antiquers.com/threads/resizing-photos-on-i-phone.35097/

If you have an android, then here are some suggestions:

I was given some advice but, of course, it didn't work for me:bored: so I just took the picture and tried to crop it down until it was under the measurement cut off number? 1...something. (so tech savvy)

Why is it every time I see a viking sword I think of Tony Curtis in the movie "The Vikings " saying " Over Yonder lies the house of my Fodder".....lol

That is 1MB or 1 Mega Byte.

The more common computer memory units:
    • Bit - either a 0 or a 1
    • Nibble - 4 Bits
    • Byte - 8 Bits
    • Kilo Byte - 1024 Bytes
    • Mega Byte - 1024 KB
    • Giga Byte - 1024 MB
    • Tera Byte - 1024 GB

Good 4 u. The top object is a fantasy sword. The design was a figment of someone’s imagination with no historical precedent. It is for hanging on the wall as decoration. No self-respecting Viking would be able to look at one of those without rolling on the ground laughing the well-known but unique ancient, nearly forgotten Viking laugh “Houfgh, houfgh, houfgh!”
