Just saying Hi

Just wanted to say hi! My names Laurence, I'm a 42year old Web Designer in Essex, UK.
About a year or so ago, I started picking up bits and pieces of old & interesting vintage items from charity shops & boot sales. I did not realise that what started as an interest would quickly turn into a hobby, resulting in the need to partition off a 10ft x 4ft space in my living room that is now jam packed solid with an array of bric-a-brac, memorabilia, collectibles and no doubt a fair amount of junk!

I look forward to interacting with others who share a similar interest and hope to expand on the knowledge I have gained over the past year, and also share some of the knowledge I have gained, where possible. I am far from being an expert but it's quite amazing how much you can learn over time, after spending so many hours sifting through books and researching objects over the internet and such like. On the flip side, I am hoping that others may be able to shed some light on some of the items I have aquired, but have been unable to find out anything significantly useful.
