Let's start with brooches, shall we?

Trombone clasp is silver, 925 mark tiny. The Travilla came from someone who has a ton of her grandmother's NOS stuff. Grandmama has taste - I bought Cabochon from them too.

The dirk and the amber glass one have been rehomed. I do like the Edwardian lapel brooches.

 

And the other bits. Black necklace is silver, one whole pound. The bloke who sold me the crystal one is normally overpriced. He missed the clasp.

 

Wow, nice haul! I especially like that (not sure if it is a pendant or brooch), pin 6 photos up with the orange colored beads and 2 pearls. Looks sort of like a grape cluster.

 

It's a pendant, carnelian beads and I suspect real pearls. Not marked, but I bet silver.

The very first one might have Halley's comet influence. Some lovely bits there.

 

Ooh, that's a thought! It does look like a comet now you've said that. Even more reason to keep it.

There's this one chap, nice man, who sells his precious metal jools at scrap rate and costume for peanuts. He gets a lot of my custom.
