That's one of the oil ones; you put lamp oil, or olive if you're traditional, in the little slots and add a small wick. This design isn't old, maybe 30 years at most, but they do tend to sell well. If you look on the bottom odds are it's marked Israel; that's where most of them are made. I've had a few here and there, and the unusual ones tend to end up in Israel, so be sure to include shipping to Israel if you sell it on line.

This my learned something new today.
I have never seen this style & could not figure out how you could get the candles to stay upright.
    Thanks!!

I grew up in a town with two synagogues, and at least three more in the next town over. Things rub off.

There is no 'Made in Israel' mark it's not that kind of Menorah this one has a rough finish and very heavy for its size . the Israeli ones were made with cheap metals and are usually much larger

You do know that this is a reproduction.

I don't think it reproduces an old one. It's actually a pretty standard design except for the oil part. A lot of the modern ones are pretty goofy; there was even a Karen Rossi design. Others look a lot like this.

komokwa The Truth is out there...!

It looks more like early 1900's , if that....
    It's a reasonably standard eastern European design.....and it's missing it's Shamash !

The basic elements of a kosher menorah are eight holders for oil or candles and an additional holder, set apart from the rest, for theshamash ("attendant")
