Is anyone familiar with these items?
I have seen several for sale, but not with this what appears to be a Roman scene embossed on the lid.
The ones i find are either plain or have the Middleton crest embossed on the lid. maybe for different types of tobacco?

I may be off on the age of these. some are stating 1920's up to 1950's ?

The image is more ancient Greek than Roman.

A small cigar humidor? You do not mention size.

I'd just put stuff in it, as a handy small box.

I suppose horse riding naked and bareback must give you a special feeling for your mount.

Well, riding bareback in shorts isn't too bad until the horse starts to sweat and then ouch! Naked? Not gonna try that.

I would have guessed time period at 1940s-50s.

Certainly looks like a vintage humidor with Greek scene. (Notice the Greek key motif used as border?) I would agree with time frame above.

    Forgot to mention it is 12" x 9 1/2" x 4 1/2".
And was originally sold with Jar samples of tobacco.
