Good Lord-The Ephemera,why wasn't I born a billionaire's son.Civil War 'Diary of 1864' (similar to Booth's pocket diary)-but this is from a Black Regiment !
As a 'catchall' Live Auctioneers does get some mind-blowing stuff,just watch out for buyers premium + shipping charges.

 

It looks like most if not all buyers premiums are 24% and shipping charges are what they are for whomever you decide to ship with!!

 

We see loads of MCM Scandinavian & Italian Furniture on Live Auctioneers-but shipping on a 150 lb table,well I saw what shipping cost for that really beautiful Coke Machine find that was recently posted.Paper though weighs next to nothing,but the 25%-ouch !

 

BUT, @boskos69, if you were paying 20 to 25% of something that might not get above maybe $30-$50 dollars, then there wouldn't be too much to cry about!!! BUT also, I do hear what you're saying when things get pricey!!!
