I just received this and haven’t polished yet. Just wondering since it says Sterling and not 830 is it a later piece?

    Thank you for looking! :)

Just don't clean it too much; that dark stuff in the crevices is there for a reason.

I cannot decide if it's stunning, cool, beautiful...you get my point. You did a lovely job polishing! I have an affinity for Scandinavian jewelry. It typically seems to have such a pure and unique personality.

Looks sort of like the designs of the 60s/70s.

I found one bracelet on line that described the mark John L. Denmark used between 1955 - 1981.
    You will need to confirm.

Yes, Thank you CC. That is what 925 shows. :)

So 60s or 70s is possible.

In my limited experience with Scandinavian silver and companies that used more than one silver purity, .925 tends to be the newer stuff. Seems like many switched over at some point. I would imagine you’re right on here.

It is beautiful, inh. Very Danish, with a reference to the old Skønvirke style (Danish Art Nouveau/Arts & Crafts).
    I love Danish silver.
As the others confirmed, the sterling mark is an indication of the period. What I found was that 'sterling' was allowed from 1961 onward for items which were at least .925. So I would say '60s is a good bet.:)

Thank you for finding that information, AJ. Now to remember that, it will be helpful in the future. :)

So, Is that confirmation a Thritto or a Quitto? I lost count.
