Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

Have a bracelet and ring that were together, that were my Grandmother's.....Mom never wanted me to wear them....so, of course, being the good little doo-bee, I never did...they got stuck in the recesses of a cabinet not to be seen for MANY years.....until I recently found and 'tried' to polish....they both have similar agate stones in them, I DID NOT do the bit of damage around the bracelet!!! (Just an FYI!) NO signatures anywhere! The bracelet just barely fits on my wrist so is about 6" to 6 1/4".....the ring I can't size until I'm back to my jeweler.....ANY INPUT you can offer on them will be MOST GREATLY APPRECIATED!!! Age, where from, suggestions as to maker, potential value (I know, I know!!!), but whatever you can help with.....I AM trying to de-access some things!!!!! HONEST!!!!! AND THANK YOU, AS ALWAYS!!!

Bracelet could be factory made Harvey era piece, not sure what the stone is. The ring looks like "red" moss agate,no idea on the maker.

That grandmother died back in the '50's, so the only thing I do know is that they are old.....Thanks Hollyblue for your input!!

I get a old Navajo pawn jewelry vibe from the bracelet but that's an unusual stone

The stones are probably agate, but the quality of the photos makes it hard for me to offer an opinion. I'd have your jeweler verify as Jasper was used as well and I cannot tell with certainty from the photographs if they are opaque or not. The cuff has the look of a tribal Navajo piece, but the pieces being unsigned and unattributed make it a challenge to say that is what it is. If it were me, and holding it in my hand, I would expect it to be Navajo. Based upon your Grandmothers passing date, it could very well fall into the Fred Harvey jewelry era. The ring, as it is presented in the pictures - again, assuming unsigned, I would say southwestern in style with an art nouveau looking pierced swirling design, but certainly not Tribal.

I am assuming you have taken a jewelers loop and looked on the underside of the cuff for markings and the inside of the ring for same. Without any makers mark it would be impossible to attribute them to anyone.
