    Bought today.
I assume it's Jeanne D'Arc, and that she originally would be holding her battle standard.

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

She DOES look like her hand is wrapped around possibly what's left of a
    missing pole/flag, as @komokwa suggested??????

My second name is Jeanne, after Jeanne D'Arc. Influenced by our family's French connection.
I'm still not sure if they should have named me after someone who was burned at the stake.:(

Maybe it was meant as a warning, AJ..."mess around with us, and find out why your second name is Jeanne [D'Arc]..." ;)

We visited Orleans, France two years ago. We're from Orleans, MA so it was something my husband always wanted to do. Amazing city but no one spoke English even in the Visitor's bureau downtown. Large statue of Jeanne in the square. Our local church here is St. Joan of Arc. This is the statue out front.
