Featured Japanese Watercolors

Picked up a handful of watercolors. 2 are signed. All have a description on back. Any idea on age?

I know the last one is a badminton-type game played by girls.

Interesting. All my art measures 13 1/4" x 9 1/2"

 

I think these could be 1960s at the latest, just a guess tho!

Interesting size for vintage art paper, perhaps the "two by four" method of measurement has been in effect over there in the Orient for much longer than I'd realized!

They are very beautifully drawn. If you decide to sell them, perhaps you can find a Japanese market to target? I think they are somewhat valuable..

 

Japanese art and books seem to sell regularly on eBay, though I don't how prices compare to other venues. Many are sold by dealers in Japan who list on the U.S. site.

 

While I love @kraftblue 's pictures, this photo you found is very nice, too.
