Featured Japanese Porcelain...Satsuma?

    I don't think Satsuma is porcelain.

    As mentioned Satsuma is not porcelain and this doesn't look like satsuma decoration to me...more like modern Kutani...maybe. a closer up in Focus picture of the mark might help.

    It is indeed not Satsuma as it is porcelain. Part of the mark reads "Great Japan, Kyoto" but I cannot read the name of the maker. Date should be early 20th c.
