The name of the artist is Kitagawa Utamaro (1753-1806), but this is a modern reprint.

    20180901_123706.jpg Thanks, Mat
It is dated 1978 Can you interpret Japanese writing? Do I have the last name signed Yamamoto correct and what about the first name? What puzzles me is the reasoning behind this person signing the print?
    Thanks Mervin
