Japanese Kokeshi doll, Translation needed..

    I know it can't be antique, But didn't know where else to post this.
    I was hoping to get a translation on the writing on the bottom.
    Pics in both directions as i didn't know which way is up haha.

    Dated 46 Showa, Ninth Month, 24th Day (September 24, 1971).

    On right 鳴子, Naruko or Narugo, a given girl's name, as well as the old name of a town.

    On left 牛昭二 , a name which can be read Ushi Akiji. Note that both family and given names have many other possible readings besides Ushi and Akiji, too many to list here.

    There's a character in the NE I can't make out. If part of the name on the left, it would of course change the reading of that name.

    Note that apparently another character's been blacked out in the SE.
