Featured Japanese horse brush painting lot

hi folks

this was another local auction lot that i picked up this week, sold as prints but they are brush paintings

being paintings though, they more likely to be unknown artists i suppose

they are all on interesting kinds of paper, some laid paper

have some age by the looks of it, not sure how old, might be different ages

seem an interesting lot though for the price

think my favourite is the fish

could do with some help regarding the marks, hopefully something might be by someone

any thoughts or info appreciated

Did you try the translate feature in the google app?

I’ve gotta start paying more attention to auctions with $1 opening bids or whatever this lot opened for. I mostly buy things with high estimates/high opening bids recently and it adds up quick!

Hi mate, yeah with no luck yet. i take it the red stamps are the artists marks, but google doesn't seem able to translate them, or even pick them out as a mark
